Our story

Carter and Krista met in 2017 when Krista was preparing to graduate from TCU and Carter was working way too much. It was clear from our first few exchanges that we shared a sense of humor and whimsey, a love for puns, and an appreciation for animals and the natural world.

Over nine years later, we’ve grown together and as individuals. Quite a bit has changed. We’ve taken many trips together, jobs and school have come and gone, we’ve found ourselves with two cats and a dog, we’ve picked up hobbies and pursued goals, and we’ve found a rhythm to life that feels better when we’re together. The one thing that hasn’t changed much is that we still love to laugh together. No matter where life takes us, we hope that will never change.
